How bad of a driver can she really be if she made it all the way up there?

My guess is on some sort of mental breakdown/using 100% of your free will situation.

I guess it's also possible she was just blindly following Google Maps or something.

They may have been low on money and doing a stunt jump instantly adds cash to your pocket.

They have a Utah plate, I don't mean to be prejudiced by I've seen Utah drivers do some wild things in cities. Probably a combo of unfamiliar area and maps telling to turn there, once you're on the track there you can't turn around really so maybe she figured she'd just keep going til she got stuck.

Utah? Mormon? This is just manifest destiny
