There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.

Does hexbear not know about groyper culture? From what I’ve read, there are quite a few trans people who are firmly in the alt right. Apparently, incels have an obsession with fem boys and even nick fuentes has engaged in erotic behavior.
Part of me believes that this shit is way too nuanced for the MSM to report on accurately. Seems like it’s a wash and again, people are going to believe whatever confirms their beliefs

The (now deleted) reddit account that's being used to "confirm" that the roommate is trans belonged to some far-right truscum 4chan poster in Utah who liked cryptocurrency and Jordan Peterson, so unless somehow the cishet white boy cop brat who used groyper memes and targeted someone only groypers gave a shit about somehow simultaneously had better politics than his trans roommate/landlord but also not better enough politics to understand why throwing your life away to remove a literal nobody grifter is a bad move, the safe bet is they were both far-right 4chan addicted gamer chuds regardless of their relationship.

Sure, it said "Notices bulges(?) OwO what's this" which is a meme that everyone from regular old queer people to groypers uses. It's a symbol that vaguely refers to deviant horniness at this point.
I'm not nearly as online as a lot of folks, so I'm not trying to portray expertise or certainty. I will say that I've seen a lot of 'OwO' and very little 'notices bulge' over the years.
Fair enough, that part is probably more explicit than most people would go with it, but I definitely remember seeing the full thing posted on reddit in contexts that had nothing to do with the far right around 2018-2019.
What is it's "Actual context" then? Because that meme was originally used to make fun of furries, and then was subsequently reclaimed by said furries. All before Groypers were ever even a thing

Leftists also love repurposing lib memes and chud memes sometimes, though. None of the bullets had anything that's exclusive to groypers. There is not enough direct evidence to land at any conclusions, just circumstantial and contextual evidence. Fuentes is covering himself but the fact that not many people have turned against him (think about it, Zionists could just point to his straight up antisemitism, boomer chuds could just look at his general aesthetic, and they'd hate him, so this isn't a matter of "ape doesn't kill ape") should tell you that this isn't so cut and dry.
I don't think we should be intellectually dishonest; I was one who immediately thought he must be a groyper but the truth is you have to force one interpretation of symbols that are inherently vague and whose meaning depend on how much irony you assign to them.

It's too nuanced and straight up bizarre even for people who are lgbtq unless they're very far into rabbit holes and obscure online subcultures. Reactionary and nazi femboys specifically hasn't been a rare thing for years, they seem (especially to cishets) like they'd overlap with trans women but that's not really the case. I think there's a chance we won't. Feds might just completely cover up any evidence that actually narrows down his ideology if they don't like it; and I don't think it'll be necessary for them to do that because at this point it's looking like this guy doesn't have an ideology that we can parse. It'll just be reading tea leaves.
