I'm leaning towards the 11pm showing of Obsession (spooky) but I do love stupid comedies so...Scary Movie....

I'm probably not gonna see Backrooms anytime soon because I think the liminal spaces trend is so fucking stupid & I have no faith that I will even enjoy a movie about someone trying to escape from some liminal space

Skill issue, I like obnoxious satire

But could you do that to me? Could you hurt a pretentious cinephile who insists on watching 3+ hour movies and commenting on the lighting? I'd say I have a family but I don't because of that.

I do it because I am you but part of my formative years were spent watching slop like Epic Movie and Meet The Spartans so I really do enjoy when a movie is just an low-brow parody/satire.

I also just enjoy when a movie is categorically awful if my two viewings of Megaopolis in IMAX are any indication. Something very funny about dragging a bunch of friends to a movie I know is bad (because I saw it by myself a week prior) and going "trust me it's by Coppola and has Shia Lebouf in it", walking into a nearly empty auditorium & them demanding I reimburse them for their tickets when we're walking out of the theater after the movie
