Decided to have an argument with the new neighbour's dachshund and lost. Was lopping some shit so was holding a bow saw too.

I think they are hunting dogs, so yes, would be aggressive.

Yea. I only attempt to pat them after my tetanus booster.

Yep. Bred to go underground and chase giant rats (badgers) and kill them - all by themselves. Serious prey drive and independence. Sort of terriers on steroids. Not pettable imo. Not very good at going up and down stairs though.
