I've been thinking about how you need to jump through so many hoops to spend your own money; sign into this, authenticate, get the code. But someone who probably isn't even in this country just spent a bunch of my money on fucking compute at an AI company. Like, how? What's the point of all this shit if someone can backchannel it so easily?

It's balls, isn't it?! Along with the whole a company can take your money in seconds, but take weeks to give it back if they have to. So shit. Hopefully this issue gets sorted for you quickly!
And I have to wait for the transactions to go through before they can be disputed. I got on that shit as soon as I saw the notification but I need to wait for the money to leave my account first. What if they say no because it was spent on fucking AI and there is no way to prove I spent thatoney myself since you have nothing to show for that kind of spend?
This week I am going to start baby steps to get myself out of this burnout hole. Need to do some repair.

Have been painting the pages of my junk journal to give them an extra bit of zing, it feels good to play with colours - no matter the result.

I was actually excited to get back into it but seems like it's not the time.
I got through phases. Like right now I am obsessed with Infinity Nikki, but a month ago I could not be fucked and was instead obsessed with Kdramas. Before that, crazy about doing word searches. Our preferences ebb and flow!
Currently I'm smashing Slay the Spire 2.
Put Crimson Desert on the PS5 on hold, will probably go back to it eventually.

I played Shadows for a bit, but gave up. Too big and too repetitive. I think I'm done with AC. Odyssey, Valhalla and this have been very meh. Mirage was okay, but not great.
Reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and loving it. Also reading some Mario Puzo books (non godfather ones).
Watching - For all Mankind, Hacks, Spider Noir, The Shield...all on and off..not really binging any of it.

Yep. Bred to go underground and chase giant rats (badgers) and kill them - all by themselves. Serious prey drive and independence. Sort of terriers on steroids. Not pettable imo. Not very good at going up and down stairs though.
My experiences with these dogs have been slightly negative...
