I will pickup an m4 air next week when I visit the US.

I tried to find videos on YouTube about performances in games during extending play sessions.

I do not buy this for gaming, but my return flight will take 33 hours due to a layover.

So, how will things like baldurs gate 3, and not switch emulation run on it after 2-3 hours of consecutive playing?

Like I said, I probably won’t game on it at all once I’m back home, but 33 hours is a lot of time to kill.

I can tell ya that my M4 easily handles lighter games (i.e. Stardew Valley) and my M2 handles medium games like Hollow Knight well.

I’ve played Bladur’s Gate 3 on my M2 with minimal reduction in performance.

How long have you played BG3 consecutively on the m2? The youtube videos I see make it seem like they played for 20 minutes to get a number for their video.

I mean, I’ve played on it for an hour, but I wasn’t constrained by performance over time — I just had other things that needed doin’ lol.

Stardew Valley runs perfectly on my iPad from 2018. M series chips shouldn’t even break a swear for that.
