Average NFL fans foaming at the mouth already lmaoooo
Kinda surprised they went for it in the current climate.
Their primary viewer demographic is dying, and most of the white kids who grew up watching football are pretty a-political about this sort of stuff. Literally, I have seen the Washington Commanders referred to as "The Commies" scornfully and lovingly, but purely in the context of football. And most of them definitely don't care who is doing the Half-Time show.
However, their expansion demographic has been for a long time South America, particularly Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, and they have been making pretty big headway there. This kind of stuff will basically help a bunch of South American men to convince their significant others to put on the Super Bowl and watch it with them at a party or something.
Hell, some people will just tune in for the Half-Time show, but that's nothing new. My parents remember when it was in Minneapolis, and Prince played, and the game itself was shit, but the halftime show was so good that people were selling bootlegs of it.
Also, the Superbowl is an evermore international event when it comes to broadcasting. Superbowl parties and all the marketing for it is huge here in the UK compared to ten years ago or so. And South America is massive.
I dont watch football so i dont even know where the Super Bowl is taking place but is it a demographic thing? In certain places I could see this being that. LA or Houston. Maybe Denver?
I know who he is, and where Im from he is pretty popular so I hear him a lot on the radio, gas stations and stuff. I dont really give a rip who plays at the super bowl, but i dunno why everyone is raising a fuss. Itll be something that appeals to guys who drink miller lite and bud lite, whatever it is that happens. Flashy shit thats red white and blue, a lot of bass, hot babes and things making sparks, and like a Steve Vai type guitar solo or some shit.
It's San Fran this year iirc
But what the boomer chuds don't get is that they usually go for someone that doesn't appeal to the majority of the NFL base in order to draw more eyes to the NFL. Like NFL fans will already be watching why appeal to them? There will be thousands who watch the superbowl just for this I guarantee it.
Yeah, this is why they had Traver Kelce and Taylor Swift get engaged
It's like a royal wedding, except the two kingdoms are the most annoying things white people invented
your second sentence is terribly correct.
yeah right, theyre a captive audience so appeal more broadly. that makes sense.
Ive never really been a football guy, but back in my twenties when I was still sorta trying to figure out if I was a football guy or not, I would sometimes pay attention or not based on what was going on during halftime.
Santa Clara, where the San Francisco 49ers play.
