Ha. Awesome. Glad you realized its not worth the discomfort.
I used to commute, and my game was constantly accelerating. I would go through jthe gears from a srop and try to be accelerating always. On straight flat areas I would just keep pushing as hard as I could until effort vs wind resistance etc sort of balanced out.
Pros. Everyone said my sweat smelled amazing, built large lower quads.
Cons: chain and sprocket set wears out very quickly
