Agreed, although I'm curious what the speed increase would be from having a duce locked and loaded
From my experience it’s hard to pedal hard when desperate for a shit lol
Had a couple times when touring where I rolled to a cafe as gently as possible before committing war crimes in their restroom
Yea thats not too surprising to hear if I'm being honest, I can't even drive fast when I gotta shit
I feel as soon as you hit a hill it'll be hard to push the pedals while not also dropping the locked and loaded payload.
Ha. Awesome. Glad you realized its not worth the discomfort.
I used to commute, and my game was constantly accelerating. I would go through jthe gears from a srop and try to be accelerating always. On straight flat areas I would just keep pushing as hard as I could until effort vs wind resistance etc sort of balanced out.
Pros. Everyone said my sweat smelled amazing, built large lower quads.
Cons: chain and sprocket set wears out very quickly
I rode my bike home from work a few times in my previous career (long story). I ride a lot, and this was only 25 miles, so it should be easy for me!
But I was so excited the first few times, that I just couldn't slow down and relax. My calf muscles clamped a few miles in, causing major pain.
Set some great personal records though.
