Tbh Orwell is a good example of how someone can call themselves a socialist, and even maybe consider themselves one, while doing the work of capitalists and opposing socialism. He's definitely more broadly seen as having been a socialist thought, so I'm a bit annoyed at my comrades here for jumping on you to make what is unfortunately still a fairly niche correction.
Hell hath no fury like a Hexbear user who sees someone with an @ next to their name saying something that's even slightly incorrect.
