medicaid payments were stopped by trump last week to ONLY BLUe states, because he is so vindictive they dint support him last election. and it dropped off msms and reddit and it wasnt metnioned since then. im hearing from my state they are starting to put restrictions for medicaid because of the payment being stalled.
or before that schumer/gop ended the shutdown last year and kick tons of people off of the super-supsidized aca plans.
Don't forget the work requirements for Medicaid they're doing federally. Oz (yes that Dr Oz) wants to make them totally universal for anyone on Medicaid - gotta work at least 80 hrs a month to stay on. Terminally ill? Disabled to the point you physically can't work? Too bad, do it or die.
The fascists figured out if you're actively killing the "useless eaters", people get mad about it. If you just allow them to die through neglect and systemic failure, they're more OK with it.
Dr oz always wanted medicaid to be gone so they can have more tax cuts, this is a way to degrade it. i know someone that is on medicad but isnt working right now, he is inf or a rude awakening. i make too much for it, and i had to buy insurance with subsidies, dental isnt covered.
republicans will be whining when they get of medicaid, lol. they will get around to medi-care eventually thats where all the older 55+ are. COL is pretty much super skewed in red states, because the lcol, it makes republicans look like they arnt "poor" in those areas.
