I didn’t know shit about dialectics, nor even much about Marx, when I read Capital but that didn’t prevent me from understanding the main points. It only meant that its meaning became richer the longer I studied and reflected on it.

Like Cowbee said, trust in the people to understand. There will likely be knee-jerk reactions, and people who never understand… but there will be others for whom it is a beginning.

It reminds me of what Marx wrote to his friend on this same question, whether Capital would be too advanced for the working class:

it shows what these priests of the bourgeoisie have come down to, when workers and even manufacturers and merchants understand my book [Capital] and find their way about in it, while these "learned scribes" (!) complain that I make excessive demands on their understanding....
