And I realize this is nothing new, but it feels like I’ve been seeing it more than usual recently. It’s driving me a bit crazy lol

right, there is that website where EU citizens can sign petitions and I think this is genius, in an evil way, because if change happens you can give yourself a pat on the back for contributing to it with a sort of vote and if it doesn't happen you can blame it on not enough people voting.
