Probably some tortured analogy where accepting Muslims, who worship Mohammed who was married to Aisha, is hypocritical if you then don’t accept all the right wing elites that were using Epstein’s services.

Oddly, the same people don't complain about Mary's age when she was married to Joseph

Bring back the reddit atheists. Christianity has been a protected identity from ridicule on the internet for far too long.

that's actually a 7th century bce geopolitical taunt directed at the moabites and ammonites (the descendants of lot's grandchildren)

[–] miz@hexbear.net 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

that's sincerely interesting, can you give me any more @context

[–] context@hexbear.net 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

of course, @miz!

the book of genesis, like many books in the bible, is a work of composite authorship. several authors contributed over a few centuries from the 9th through 5th centuries bce during the existence of the old kingdom judah and its conquest by the babylonian empire. prior to the babylonian exile, the kingdoms of moab and ammon in present-day kingdom of jordan were natural rivals to the authors in judah. they're mentioned elsewhere in the bible, i think as allies of assyria and/or babylon if i recall. so implying that they were all the product of drunken incest was propaganda ultimately in support of the kingdom of judah and its political goals.

Muslim should follow the prophet and obey what was revealed by God through him. Any worship of the prophet or deitification is strictly forbidden. Muslims love the prophet and follow his example.

Take care sorry for the late response I was busy this week
