On Tuesday I had a vasectomy. I was allowed to sit up and watch, and it was one of the most incredibly captivating experiences of my life. The surgeon explained everything step by step, talked about why each thing was necessary etc. I was a little nervous to start with, but the moment he said "can you feel this?", while poking my scrotum with a hot needle, and the skin sizzled and split, I burst into laughter and was fine from then on.

I'm genuinely still buzzing 2 days later, I can't recommend it enough - although I do appreciate it's not for everyone ๐Ÿ˜†

I didn't feel anything at all until they put the sterilising spray on at the end, and honestly for about twenty seconds I have never felt pain like it. It honestly felt like someone was holding a blowtorch to my sack.

Other than that, yeah 10/10 would recommend.

Wow.

I struggle to give blood, let alone watch surgery on myself.
