I hope they didn't have any children. Kids are merciless, and will tease & torment those children for being the offspring of someone the kids will assume was stupid enough to cause their own ignoble end. Kids are horrible to one another.

I have no idea what life is like for kids in Russia, but surely the deceased's children would be out of school for s bit, and/or gossip will spread about the loss or sudden disappearance of their parental unit?
