the years for norris facts and rickroll are correct, but all your base was a meme by 2000 and Leeroy Jenkins happened in 2005.
Yup. When I entered college in computer science in 2001, there was an all your base belong to us joke in it, which means it was at least a year old
I started in the fall of 99 and that spring semester it was evertwhere. It was like, 6-7 levels for a while
Golden age of internet
Sigh. 20 years ago. Thanks for that...
There's still plenty of time left, old boy. Spend it wisely.
Too expensive to spend on anything.
I thought so! I remember setting up all the computers in the labs to start playing the musical All Your Base animation at the same time at full volume. That was definitely 2000 or early 2001.
It's like someone posted a clip of Technoviking earlier, and the Wikipedia entry said it went viral in 2007 on Youtube, but I swear I saw it on ebaumsworld by 2003. It apparently happened in 2000 and uploaded to the internet in 2001 so it's not impossible.
