Last night Melbcat petitioned to go outside. Not a chance, not at night.
But she’s not going to let me walk this back. 30 minute timer got put on and if I’m not up to any longer we go back inside.
Will she tolerate a harness? Go for a walk or means you could tie her up on a long lead for some outdoor time and you can rest inside?
Oh we’ve done that. She wouldn’t tolerate it and managed to get her arm out out of the strap style harness, then I bought a vest style one and she refused to walk on the leash. I actually gave away the leash itself after disuse. I still have the vest harness.
I could try again and see if she gets used to it when allowed to just sit but she finds wearing it a stressor. And I wouldn’t leave her outside alone in any circumstance

Yeah, I thought about it. It really depends on how much energy and how safe I feel. Also how she takes to it
