Who has won who has proven themselves to be a socialist through actual actions and not words?
Kind of hard to prove themselves when they haven't been in office yet or at least not for long.
My counter question would be: Who among these newly elected democratic socialists have been shown to NOT be true?
What is your distrust based on, and how is this NOT better than getting MAGA shit people in again?
Don't let perfect stand in the way of progress.
It's sickening how you get so many upvotes for merely posing an impossible question and criticizing when there is real progress, what you are doing is the exact same a Russian agent would do.
You’re just angry because I’m right. I’m also angry because I’m right.
Edit: also, you live in Denmark and had absolutely no idea about American politics outside of what you see in the news.

What has he done while in office to prove he is a socialist?
Nothing, but in fairness that may be due to the fact that he's not IN office until next month.
So back to my original question…….
patience child
That’s what they keep saying, and they keep never delivering. While we wait, we lose everything.
This article is discussing the socialist candidates who won elections in November of this year. None of them take office until January.
It is currently December. None of them are in office yet. They cannot deliver anything from the office until they are in the office.
Its weird you keep asking.
Okay, past 20 years. Show me socialism.
Ok, pay my consultancy fee and I'll get you a report in a week.
That’s what I thought.
evidently not
Yes, I thought you had nothing and you delivered.
Evidently so.
I delivered on the part that is relevant to the article that we are commenting on.
You can learn to research things yourself. Ask a librarian if you need help. You can do it!
I already know there’s no socialism. I don’t have to go find it because it doesn’t exist. I also don’t need you to agree with me.
Go back to school. You clearly need more of it.
“ I know you are but what am I”
You do not understand the concept of time.
Correct! It is set in stone that nearly all of us will receive a slow and agonizing death, no matter what we do. The important part is making the events that lead up to said death matter.
Correct! And we aren’t making any of those events matter.
Then take the initiative to make it matter.
Moving the goal post to the impossible are we?
I said “who won” so the goal post is still in the same place. Learn to read.
you mean like nationalising all business?
what's your favourite flavour of socialism?
Libertarian Socialism, aka Ⓐ
I mean like doing anything that could actually be considered socialism and not just capitalism with a new paint job. Sounds like no one has, so bs headline. 🤷♂️
I mean, you can't define socialism by saying that this socialism
Can you name some “socialism” in the US in the past 20 years? I don’t see any. Perhaps a small blip of “hope” here and there but nothing that has any effect.
Look, unless you lay down what you consider to be the goalposts of "socialism", I doubt you're going to have any sort of productive/constructure discussion on this point.

Being declared a traitor by both the DNC and RNC means you are a socialist. Therefore, Mamdani is a socialist. QED.
A simple rule of thumb for you: If the powerful universally want you in a shallow grave, then you're doing the right thing.
So, answer my question?
You don't see it...? Interesting.
Name some socialism in the past ~20 years.
ACA
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is not socialism because it does not replace private markets with government ownership or control of healthcare; instead, it builds on the existing private insurance system by requiring insurers to follow certain rules (like covering pre-existing conditions) and by helping some people afford private insurance through subsidies, while leaving hospitals, doctors, and insurance companies privately owned and operated.
It is socialism due to having a left "outlier" score on the US left-right scale.
This is just capitalism with different paint. It is not socialism. The people on the left who are in charge would like you to think it’s socialism because it’s not socialism and they are not socialists. I understand that the ACA was a good thing, and I can understand how it might be confused with socialism because it helps people. But it is not in any way socialism. The United States has us so beaten down that we will accept anything remotely not bad as good. Don’t let them do that to you. You are better than that. You are worth more.
Oh, I'm fully aware of what the better path is. Though I have reason to believe I would not survive it.
