What do you want to do? You can achieve pretty much anything with realistic expectations in mind. Let's see the problems you listed:

shaky financial situation, no opportunities, no networking

You can do networking, which is a term I despise because it basically means make a lot of easy friendships/partnerships, but liberals love to separate work from life that's why they invent these bullshit terminologies.

Anyways the more acquaintances you make the more opportunities open up, opportunities to make $$ and that's what we need, to survive in this world, right? Don't feel discouraged by lacking official diplomas or formal education, unless you wanna be like a doctor or something, then figure out how to get into education to become a doctor, through the same methods.

You already say yourself they teach you nothing of value in your schools. So how do these students end up graduating and then finding jobs anyways? Because they believe in it and think that they got their certificate and now they're supposed to go apply where these certificates are required, but of course these positions get overflowed with time, because we don't have a plan and then the student goes "damn unlucky me guess I gotta either re-educate or do jobs that require no diploma." all of this is bullshit though and you can either participate in that or try to do something different by working outside the system and exploiting it, which you can do because you are aware of how it works.
