Airlines treat us like trash, we can dress how we want. If I'm not in business class, there ain't no need.
I won't argue that airlines treat people like cattle, but one should still make an attempt at looking respectable.

I’ve visited one country in Central America and had a layover in another, and I didn’t notice anyone doing any particular dressing up for flights. Just the same mix of casual tees and office casual shirts that I see in the US. Clean clothes = good to go. Maybe dressing up for a flight is a European thing?
