Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Well, no one ever accused the American government of being smart...

Looks like rBST was deemed safe by FDA, so maybe some retailers still stock it?

It's possible. I'm an avid milk drinker in the US and can't recall ever having seen milk without the rBST free label. You might have to buy like dollar store milk or something to find it haha. Sounds like maybe 10-20% of US milk might have rBST.

Interestingly it is not illegal to import milk produced with rBST into Canada and Google says there are no specific labeling requirements for imported milk. But that's been a thing since 2015 apparently.

So good news everyone, you may have already been drinking hormone and antibiotic infected milk already for the last 10 years in Canada if you haven't checked the label. TIL.

When we drank milk we stuck to Canadian brands, so should be good. We went from vegetarian to vegan about 3-4 years ago so now I will have to start worrying about lead content in oats, soy, cashew or almonds
