I have a wedding to attend in a couple of weeks, and the dress code is cocktail attire. I do not own any item of clothing that would fit the definition of "cocktail". So hopefully savers has a dress that meets that definition, I mean the dress racks there are usually chock full so I ought to find something.
(I just realised I think I might have a couple of weddings I'll have to attend this year, so I should make sure the savers dress is good quality ๐)
Thank you Briongloid for posting today's DT, and providing links to remain savvy!
Would you like a black lace cocktail frock? I have one I got from an op-shop for a particular event. Its a wrap around style so it's quite forgiving for fit. Very well made - I think maybe originally a designer style, certainly quite high-end. You can have it for free if you want as it's just taking up space in my wardrobe and I don't think I'm going to wear it again. Was going to donate it once my local Vinnies starts accepting clothing donations again - they aren't at the moment as they are chockers.
Ooooo that would be delightful!
Don't underestimate how good women in cocktail suits look either. If you wanted to wear pants that is.
