Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I mention hillary because i have seen her campaign sending mail out already, I really fucking hope that shit is just trying to milk donors for national funding and not the establishment trying to push her on the country one more time.
Omg yeah the dems will all but throw it, kamala is trying again too. Dems are so scared of being accused of stepping over a woman/minority, they let the republic fall. Wtf is wrong with them. Newsom is unfit, his chance was 2024 and he declined, pritzker too.
Either would have taken it, then. Too afraid to reach out and take the top job. Not a single challenge for house or senste either, as both leaders are just awful and as popular as syphillis.
Republicans are cheating every way they can so newsom or pritzker, the better of the establishment choices on offer, like syphillis is better than aids, will not be enough to overcome republicans comfortably if at all, and will let the republicans cheat, take it from them, asking courts, and not mobilizing the population even if they squeaked out a win over the new voting regimes.
Also though, I predict indictments fall 2027 for false vote rigging on dems, and that and something targeting newsome directly and personally. That is why 24 was too important to sit out because they did not want bad faith bigotry attacks damaging their reps with the sheep and establishment.
They need someone talking like mamdami, where are the white guys on the actual left? Killed in the cradle by the estsblishment. And white men demonized all around with bernie bros, and other such bad faith ad hominems, what do you expect from those pearl clutching bed wetters though?
being a woman isnt even the issue, the kind of people where woman is the deal breaker are voting R no matter what. i have direct family deep in the maga-sphere, come from bunfuck nowhere midwest, traveled all over the country...
run AOC and you'd get your first woman president, but imo that'd kind of be waste at this stage...actual progressive president without similar progressive congress will just be hamstringed by obstructionist establishment

unironically, Obama's whole "Hope and Change" campaign followed by...8 more years of the same ol' shit, pointless wars, ratfucking, and corporate kickbacks... that killed Dem's reputation far more than decades of 24hr conservative propanda/manufactured consent mainstream media shit could possibly manage.
working class america votes for whoever offers the most convincing promises of change, and if that doesn't present itself they vote for immediate personal gain...and i can't really blame of for the latter giving everything i'v seen. it's easy to draw a line on palestine or whatever else but when your worried about putting food on the table for your immediate family/friends?...
Getting a progressive president would give them a lot of power to reform the DNC, which is why the DNC will pull every lever to prevent that, including the nuclear option of vetoing the nominee and picking one behind closed doors. I absolutely think its worth it to run somebody as a hamstrung progressive president because they could go open season on lobbyists in the DNC itself.
