I wish their mothers had done a better job, personally. I don't doubt that their inclination towards Gestapo-ism is a result of personal failings due, in part, to shitty parenting and growing up in failure.
Idk, I had shitty parents and I'm not a fucking Nazi. At some point personal responsibility is a thing, and it literally takes zero effort to not be a fascist.
You know what's crazy? Lately there seem to be more and more extremists whose families are normal. Like RFK Jr or Jesse Waters

I don't know that I'd call the Kennedys normal. I don't know enough about Waters to comment on that. (Though I love that Ryan Grim clocked him once.)
The Kennedy family is a prime example of a assimilated Irish family, normal on the surface right fucking horrible within. My kin make fun of them.
