In all honesty this is incredible. How was this not the case from the very beginning? Beyond banning cybersecurity products they'll want to become more reliant on their own silicon too. Each and every microprocessor produced in the US is ripe for backdooring. https://www.eejournal.com/article/clever-hack-finds-mystery-cpu-instructions/

There are seemingly endless opcodes that are not documented that probably only Intel/AMD and the NSA know how to use.

Probably the same for nvidia cards.
