Getting ready for law school. I found out a class (I retook just to boost my GPA lol) wasn't covered by aid, over a week after the semester I took it ended.

Now my college won't let me do anything with my transcripts until it gets taken care of. My balance is like $1500! They do not care. They're not even good at being greedy; the way they did it makes it even harder to pay them back in a timely manner. Fuckin dicks.

What's even shittier is that I work at a uni on the bookstore side, and I see the school rip people off constantly.

porky-happy thats why we need to switch to innovative educational funding models that align incentives! Instead of the school keeping your diploma until you pay them, thus keeping you from getting a job you could use to pay them, the school simply acquires the right to a share of your future income in perpetuity!
