Humans are good at compartmentalizing.
You may be a massive racists who hates all the "undesirables", but you met a black woman you're attracted to, or maybe even love. Generally the human brain can human up with some rationalization, or even if they can't, just ignore the contradiction and keep your home life mentally separate from your political one. Humans are good at justifying/ignoring shit to get what they want.
It's not compartmentalizing, it's a fetish. They are dating other races because they are racist, not in spite of it. This isn't a relationship based on love in the egalitarian Hegelian sense, but in the master-slave sense.
That may be the case sometimes, but I've encountered CHUDs (and even worse) in relationships with minorities where it seemed they had genuine affection for them. They just didn't bother squaring the circle of their beliefs with their fondness for the person they were dating.
Probably out of some domination fetish, some desire to have the "lesser peoples" of their imaginary fascist hierarchy under their thumb. In their typical hierarchy obsessed fashion, fascists sees relationships as domination of one on the other. And in their typical vain fashion, they want peoples to acknowledge "their place" the the hierarchy. That's why they want minority partners, to them, a "lesser people" entering a relationship with them is one that accept to submit to them, an acknowledgement of specifically their imagined place at the top on a personal level.
That's what I imagine would be the reason anyway.
There's a psychosexual element where they get to "convert" and dominate someone from a "lesser" race. It's basically a kink thing for both of them. Lots of relationships aren't based on love but other power dynamics. White Nazi guy with asian or black wife is a common trope for a reason
