8 hour shift of shoveling and it's still snowing and won't stop until midnight. Granted I took 2 hour breaks to warm up and hydrate, but looking back out the window and the driveway is covered again. (hexbear.net)

Also never lift the shovel head higher than your waist. Ideally you can get the downward slanting style that makes this easier. Super easy to hurt you back, shoulders and cause a heart attack while shovelling.

I wonder how common heart attacks from shoveling are. I assume the #1 cause of death related to snowstorms are traffic accidents. Heart attacks from shoveling is probably in the top 5.
