My college had regular visits from fundamentalist evangelicals who'd have signs condemning us all to hell and they'd harass students. One of them yelled at my friend, saying she's in a wheelchair because God is punishing her for being a lesbian (she's not a lesbian). They would also scream slurs at passing professors. One time they had a sign about how all music is satanic. The dean approached them (he was a former music professor) and tried showing them sheet music of Mozart or something. Then he said some stuff like "we'll agree to disagree" and walked away.

One time a student got absolutely pissed off at them, stole their sign and threw it in the river. Thst student got arrested and academic suspension for a year.
