What was the last really good sandwich you had?
GOAT sandwich is tomato and cheese with good quality butter and lashings of salt and pepper on fresh bread. I will allow ham if needed.
Goat cheese with ham and sweet mustard pickle ๐
Oh yes. I like the cut of your jib.
I made a very nice schnitzel and salad sandwich just now
I really liked the ones from 711. I think the last one was chicken schnitzel and salad on wholemeal with mayo but even plain chicken would have been fine.
7-11 has definitely lifted it's game re sangers etc. I like their thai beef wraps, and their roast beef too, except the roast beef comes with brown but still floppy bread which I do not like. But their best one (not always available) is the lamb souvlaki wrap - that's seriously yumm.
I don't remember the last specific sandwich, there are too many. I'm having turkey, avocado and cranberry tomorrow (on fresh bread that I'm in the process of baking now) and they are always pretty good. If you are including toasties, Sunday lunch is a toasted sandwich, with meatloaf, roasted zucchini & pumpkin, marinaded mushroom and capsicum, and cheddar cheese.
Pate & cucumber on baguette
An egg & lettuce sanga I made a couple of days ago. I could live off those.
Yum, how do you like the egg?
I boil it, peel it, mash it a little, add a tiny bit of mayo, add pepper and sometimes I add curry powder.
The ham & egg salad bagel from Mile End really hit the spot last week.
$20. For Heavens Steaks on Centre Rd Clayton.
Should've asked this question when I went to uni around there!
