Sweet blessed rain. The garden rejoices.

I picked another snow pea, the first zucchini is looking good, I will pick it tomorrow. The pumpkin vine has produced its first (male) flower and the button squash has a few female flowers, but I think I'll probaby need to hand pollinate them, I just need to get the timing right.

So nice to have all that in your garden!

I've only tried cherry tomatoes this year. Picked my first one today.

Cherry tomatoes are great, and tend to self seed easily. I had a row in my previous house that were grown from seeds in a supermarket mixed punnet, a couple of my plants this year are their descendants.

My plants have only just started flowering, so I envy you having fruit starting.

It's really only one lil bunch that has started fruiting. The rest of the plant is just flowering now. So weird. I was worried for a while it was only going to be this one bunch!

I think everything is a bit delayed this year, spring was very wet and cool so I think a lot of people have found the garden has been growing a bit strangely this year.
