Whose center? The sane, international center? Or the lunatic center that is the norm here in the US?

If the latter, Detective Peralta is sadly technically correct.

There is no international center. Every place has its own local context and differing ideas of what's left and right. And frankly, the definitions most people use of left and right don't make a lot of sense anyway.

It is almost like the whole idea of boiling down complex political issues and ideas to be labeled based on how people happened to be seated in the french revolution, is an oversimplification and does not at all reflect reality.
