628 Ah at what voltage?
I hate how battery systems are rated. They never give the full picture. "This is a MW system" cool, but how much storage?
It's in MWh, what more do you want?
Many articles leave that out. The headline for instance only lists Ah
But isn't AHr a better measure for battery storage ?
No, you're still missing voltage to give you the total energy storage, or Watt-hour (wh). For a cell of known chemistry, the voltage is implied. For example, lithium ion's nominal voltage is ~3.7V. However, the term "battery" is ambiguous. Could be one cell, could be many strapped together to form your "battery". See 12V lead acid batteries. Therefore, Ah is only half the answer.
Yeah, I really want to be impressed and am sure I will be. Just give me the specs
v*a=w
so ? * 628 = 1,000,000
you do the math part, I'm lazy
1592.36 V
1592.36 Vh
Me too, that's why I want it in the article.
