On a side note, I hope and recommend they move to Stoat instead.

You make a good point but it's FOSS. Probably some guy is thanklessly spending his free time working on it for virtually no money while still working a full-time for-profit job or something.

Of course. I think it's just quite important to mention, because there are already a gazillion solutions for the "text message" part of discord. Really, the only thing missing from these solutions is the ability to have voice chat and video/screensharing. And stoat doesn't have that either.
