Catching up with a friend I haven't seen for 30 years on Saturday afternoon. We reconnected recently and now she's back in Australia. Just not sure where to go! I'm going to ask them at work, they all actually go out to grown up places πŸ˜†Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Oh that's exciting!! I hope you have a wonderful time! Are you going into the city or looking for a different area?

Thankyou! The city or immediate surrounds is probably easier for both of us.

There's a fair few rooftop bars around now - maybe one of those?

Sounds lovely, though I'm thinking somewhere quieter maybe.

Forecast 29 degrees. Maybe some CBD area galleries and late arvo cocktail?

A gallery with a nice place to eat πŸ€” That actually sounds really good. Those places are usually quiet, which is great because we've got a lot to catch up on.

Upstairs at the NGV is free and quiet-ish. Careful talking to the attendants, I made a joke with one about the exit signs and he wouldn't stop talking to me even as I was walking away saying "thanks, thanks".
