Second date today. Kind of shitting myself but whatβs the worst that can happen?
Well, shitting yourself would be up there I reckon. So might as well chill π
You realise maybe you don't have chemistry.
You take the confidence you earned from going through with this, and use it to keep moving forward if you feel ready.
The worst that can happen is he kidnaps you and keeps you in a dungeon for years as a sex slave. Although that's also technically a risk you face at any time, it's not really date specific.
The worst that is likely to happen is you collect a new bad date story you'll be able to entertain people with for years.

And collecting bad date stories is a positive if you look at it that way
Almost all bad events have good story potential. Thinking about that at the time can actually be a good way of getting through it too - instead of focusing on the bad you can think about 'how will I tell this story to everyone later'.
But hopefully it will go well, even if that is the more boring outcome π
