i remember the pinto jokes when i was a kid, but i remember a lot of jokes about the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Firestone tires.

it doesn't specifically acknowledge how american government fines against american vehicle manufacturers are bullshit and that jury awards are invariably, wildly reduced on appeal.
meanwhile, the ones where japanese manufacturers get caught, they pay 10-100x in damages, some go bankrupt, and some even go to jail. and that's capitalist-ass japan.
we don't punish our capital formations worth a fuck. i don't know why anyone would buy american, except they market the shit out of them to us. fucking death mobiles made by monsters.
