Yeah but the democrats weren't restraining Israel when they were in power despite clearly had the leverage (arms resupply).
They signalled to the voters they weren't holding them back. Indeed a great part of the slaughter happened under Biden watch.
If Trump wasn't around that alone would have ended Biden relection attempts.
The democrats did everything they could to find the worst postion on every single issue.
So yes I blame them when it should have been a fucking shoe in. They allowed the fascist to come to power due to their milquetoast acquiescence to their corporate and dark money benefactors.
Not to the people. They had sold out workers rights to the point where unions were bleeding out. And when a conman fascists came up claiming he would make it all better they had no way to tell people to stay the course with the democrats when the evidence was clear. Wages going down, workers rights in the fucking sewer, health issuance, housing and education across the country all trending down.
It was desperation of millions that they could neither voter for the democrats nor Trump. Which along with the republican cheating allowed them to secure the win.
And the democrat leadership is utterly lacking accountability for what they did.
Schumer, Jefferies, Pelosi, Harris, Buttigirg all knew the president was fucking senile and sick. He shouldn't have been in power much less running a relection campaign.
How they have not resigned for such a massive breach of trust is beyond me. It's fucking criminal.
And worse not pursing trump and putting him prison. Fuck me. They had every opportunity. Jesus, the man is a walking indictment. They had over 3 million files and 15 TB of videos which we know contain Trump and yet they did nothing!!
And now they won't even declare a general fucking strike.
How many more people must end up in concentration camps before they oppose Trump with everything they got????
No no you're right. What's happening right now is so much better than having an Israel supporter for president. You saved the world.
I mean like, the international ridicule, antagonizing your closest allies, having the government murder American citizens in the streets, the increasing inflation, the reduction of manufacturing investments. Totally worth it. At least Trump doesn't support Israel, right? That's clearly a W.
It's true that the Democrats fucked up, but the people who chose trump over a not perfect choice are absolutely deserving of their share of the blame. Voters have agency themselves and should have been able to see what everyone else saw.
It's theoretically possible to pressure someone on our nominal side to change their stance on Israel, Trump would just laugh in our faces and increase the funding. It's not the fucking same.
