The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the attacks on hotels are being carried out because the US evacuated staff from its facilities to hotels. Apparently, they are tracking their movements. (www.reddit.com)

This would be completely legal under international law, yes? And putting active duty soldiers in civilian hotels is a violation, correct? I heard they were dressed as civilians too, so that’s just straight up perfidy
