westerners really don't understand how these jokes come off to people in the global south
to them it's just a deprecating joke about being a gooner. they have already sexually objectified and commodified women so that part totally is normalized and not even recognized. How it's perceived though is as a taunt, a colonizer continuing in the hundreds of years of tradition of sexually assaulting us, trafficking women from our nations to become prostituted and enslaved. This shit will get you murdered if you said it in Iran. It's reveling in the SA of an entire nation, getting excited to pillage like barbarians of yore and take war "brides" hostage. Then they call us the barbarians.
