Hasan fans are politically diverse, anything from centre to far-left really. If you do critically engage with his content, you will see that Hasan supports China, advocates for Marxist-Leninist organising, admits he appears more moderate to not scare away people who have not gained much class consciousness yet but also believes in some forms of electoralism and opportunism. So just like his fans and his subreddit, he is a mixed bag. People tend to ignore the naunce.
i keep hearing he's good for recruitment and he's not redirecting people back to liberalism like vaush or whatever. but idk it's really hard to see that when he's pulling up lenin quotes to justify his enthusiastic support for a blackwater mercenary with a nazi tattoo.
I don't trust or support Graham Platner btw but If you reduce him to merely a 'blackwater mercenary with a nazi tattoo' then of course Hasan look crazy for supporting any of what he is doing.
