Dead Sea, right? If so, with how salty it is, those farther from the shore, did they go walking? e.e"

No? The Persian Gulf is a part of the Indian Ocean. The dead sea is landlocked and on the other side of the Arabian Peninsula.

The dead sea is in Israel/Palestine. You’re thinking of the red sea.
