Full disclosure - I am slightly drunk.

I just wanted to say based on trends I am seeing in my very non-scientific observations on social media - support for Israel and Zionism has completely collapsed. Like you might as well say 'fuck the troops' collapsed.

I hate Isreal and I hate Zionism, but I am concerned based on my own personal experiences about how easily this is turned into straight up 'hitler was right' rhetoric.

And I think this is what Zionists wanted. What is the best way forward with anti-zionst movement?

Considering the history of Israelis in SE Asia, I think your friends are broadly making the right choice.

More in every single case, kinda undersold it with "sure some..." cuz so far it was only completely unhinged, demanding and super rude ppl u cannot even imagine (not that this is a huge sampling group, its small, but still, makes u think). Probably right to worry about this shit once Israel as a state and concept is gone.
