RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

That sounds exactly like I2P.
However, I think a global mesh network with an encrypted layer would be better. With micro transactions for delivery.
...We're going back to the postal service, but with fun little mystery ciphers!
That's my line of thinking. I never got much junk mail with a stamp on it.
Get out of here with that crypto shit. The delivery costs are practically nothing as network hardware has grown in capability. The only reason blockchain shitware has a cost associated with it is its monumental inefficiency due to the proof of work bollocks it has to do.
The costs of network infrastructure is always diminishing.
OK, how else can we stop bots, spam, and relentless scraping of everything?
