So I have a thing called auditory pareidolia, basically when there's white noise / runnng water / fan etc. the brain is tricked into hearing patterns and filling in the blanks. In my case it's music. Really soft muffled music usually things with distorted guitar / vocals (not the words though, just pitch) and drums. Can sometimes pick out the choon but it's all very indistict and sounds like it's coming from 2 rooms over. Choons I can recognise are all from childhood (so no rave choons heh).

Place next door haven't done their downpipes yet so it sounds like a bit of a waterfall with rain like that and last night it went into overdrive. Usually happens when you're relaxed and not doing much.

Apparently it's quite common.

When I was younger thought I was trippin.

Anyway last night swore I heard beegees stayin' alive which was new.

I had no idea that had a name. My noisy box air conditioner in the bedroom used to make that happen. Slightly indistinct original music to make a change from the normal internal soundtrack (which is currently running a Hinder marathon).
