Trying out something new. Doing discussion topics about indie games once in a while. Let's see if there is interest.

Like the title says, have you played recently an indie game that you enjoyed and want to share? It does not have to be a newly released game.

I recently played and enjoyed Carrion, a Metroidvania-style horror game where you play a monster trying to escape an underground lab. For me, it felt like it had a good creepy atmosphere, created by fitting pixel art and the fact there is no dialogue. The game is short and not too difficult, with fun mechanics.

I have never played a deckbuilder game. The concept always sounded overwhelming too me. But I love the trailer on steam. Also the name reminds me of the chrono series from square enix.

Well, the name isn't a coincidence as there is some time loopery in this game (which handily plays into the roguelike bit).

I would say give it a chance if you like the style in the trailer and you're intrigued by the sound of it. It's a really great game. Since it's a roguelike you approach the deckbuilding one step at a time and can learn pretty gradually, just pick one upgrade/new card that sounds good whenever it's presented to you and see if it works out - otherwise there is always next run!

I see. Thank you.

I am always glad when games add something like that.
