Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

Everyone in my family just turns their head to the side and lets their sneeze rip into the house. I've only convinced one of them to cover their sneeze sometimes.

I told my sister that if she couldn't grab a tissue in time, then she could pull the collar of her T-shirt up over her nose (a move I copied from my friend from Vietnam) and she said "that's gross!" emilie-pain

...But coating the entire room in a fine mist of the same stuff isn't!? That's like opting to throw your turd at a moving house fan instead of shitting your pants.

I also had a classmate who would sneeze with so much substance that I could literally see chunks of snot hit the floor. kombucha-disgust
