Marc Brown in conjunction with PBS inspired 4 generations of children to learn tolerance, respect, and community. The good this man has done is arguably more far-reaching than Mr Rogers himself
gestures at America if he's been at it for 4 generations then what's all this?
He got 2 in 3 of us. The other 1/3rd I'd rather not talk about
1 in 3. A third decided to be bystanders in the fact of abject bigotry.
Well that's a fine example of your "tolerance, respect, and community"

For four generations we've been associating tolerance, respect and community with childish cartoon characters; something to be outgrown.
I got about as much tolerance left as Bugs Bunny.
You are probably on to something here. We shouldn’t have tolerated everything. We shouldn’t have entertained their conspiracy theories or gave them a seat at the table at all.
We will have to figure out a way to do better.
