I don't care what somebody's political opinions are on the invasion of Iran (I do but not for this context). Put that aside for a minute.

I've always cringed at the people that view war or politics like it's a marvel movie or a football game. But, if you are one of those people, can you please reflect for a moment on how absolutely Andor like the Iranian resistance has been.

A massive Imperial empire is literally being brought to its knees, having its top teir stealth fighters shot at and hit, and it's trade routes are being shut down by the mere fear of what are essentially explosives strapped to drones powered by glorified lawnmower engine. It's overly spread out bases are hit and and abandoned.

No wonder Star Wars itself was literally written as the Rebels representing the Vietcong resistance to Imperialism.

The absolute hubris of the US Empire is being shown on full display.

Edit: Not directing this comment personally at the comment I replied to. The comment just definitely triggered this rant with the idea of "better tech" getting absolutely shit on by preparation, competency, and a people actually fighting for their own self determination against a foreign invasion.
